Don’t buy! I bought this for my husband for Christmas because our niece had one. Got it and the inside cylinder was broke. Sent it back and got another one. The instructions are terrible. Tried to use the app on our phone and it doesn’t recognize it and there’s no troubleshooting to get it to work. There is no where that says how long to decant a wine. If you go to the website and type in a wine, it gives you how long but doesn’t give the conversion of how long to set the machine….AND then the…
Great decanter, but how is this âsmartâ? Based on the site description I expected connectivity to an App that they talk about, but it does not, and the App is an absolute JOKE! I mean, itâs terrible. As far as the product itself, the decanter works well. I tried a bottle of Quilceda and did a side by side comparison with my wife. I poured a small amount of wine in a glass before I put the rest in the decanter then poured a small amount of the decanted wine in another glass after it was finished (which took about 20 seconds). little pricey but worth every penny I have been using mine only for the last month but the way it changes the wine is amazing, especially the length of finish,the softening of tannins ( I tried it on 2016 and 2017 Cabernet Sav. i Franc, also Merlot).It is very easy to use and fun to watch. It is not only effective but saves a lot of time and effort.If someone is serious about wine this is it.
