For my winette wife I bought this for my wife who faithfully has a glass of wine every evening without fail and swears that the vinturi aereator makes a difference in taste. So after seeing her struggle with the liter bottles and trying to hold the vinturi at the same time I thought I would purchase this accessory. Works great and she loves it. Great price on Amazon and free shipping with Prime. Woo Hoo
Better than hand holding, still makes a bit of a mess. I do like this stand, it works best if you utilize wine glasses with stems, stemless wine glasses sit too low and a larger mess ensues when pouring. I will state that the Vinturi wine aerator is a bit messy and when used with this stand, tends to splash causing wine to pool under the clear portion of the arm and then typically around the stand.
Nice contemporary look Useful and elegantly designed – it performs its function perfectly. Four stars only because the pieces cannot be stored together easily. If they snapped together in a closed position for easier storage it would be much better. As such you can take the arm out of the base and then lay them side by side in a drawer/cupboard.
