Necessary for those who use their aerator regularly Absolutely necessary for full functioning of your aerator. It is no fun to balance aiming into the glass, holding the aerator, pouring into the aerator correctly, AND dispensing the right amount of wine.This is the holder that fixes that problem. I do not regret buying this at all.I did subtract one star because I felt like the “tower” was priced so highly because of this need, despite its only adequate construction. Functional But at a Price First let me note that I am not a wine snob and rarely purchase any bottles priced over $15-$20. I am still suspect of aerating in general but perhaps I don’t have as refined palate as others. Now for the review….I purchased the tower to go with our Vinturi aerator we had already purchased. It was an Xmas gift for the wife because we always needed extra hands to hold the aerator, wine bottle or glass. I thought this would solve that issue.What I Liked:…
Nice complement to Vinturi Aerator Had the aeorator for a couple of years before we saw the tower in a wine bar. We were attracted to it primarily for aesthetic reasons at first. It does look quite nice. But it’s quite functional as well. It’s not much of a hassle to hold a bottle of wine in one hand and the aeorator in another, but it is simpler to just put the glass under the aerator in the tower and pour. Sometimes it’s almost inevitable (at least for me) that a bit of wine will spill out the two air vents. But, for the most…
