If it leaks, return it. Giving it 4 stars because the first one had to be returned. It would leak from the air holes and run all over. Not accomplishing what it was designed for and wasting good wine. Submitted a return through Amazon and received a second item (in just a couple of days) that works as it should. No leaking and one could easily hear the sucking sound from the air.

Like the aerator, tower’s just for looks I have both the red wine aerator and the white wine aerator. I think they work and do the job they’re supposed to do. But to do their job, they have to be slanted over the glass so the wine can pour down the side of the aerator, and the air can get into the wine. So I like the aerator part of this set. And I like the way the tower looks on my bar and on my dinner table. So much more elegant when you’re having people over for dinner and, instead of passing around the aerator, you oh-so-nicely…
