These long-lasting extra stoppers are designed to work with the vacuum-style pump (sold separately) to keep a wine fresh. Made of high-quality rubber, they won’t affect the taste of the wine. And the method is simple–just place a stopper in the opening of a bottle, place the pump over the stopper, and pump air out until the pump clicks to indicate that the correct vacuum level has been attained. This process is suitable for preserving all but sparkling wines, and will save Chiantis, Syrahs, and others for up to two weeks.

BEWARE OF FAKE PRODUCTS! PLEASE NOTE: the review is of the product I received, not the original Vacu vin stoppers that are a 5-star product! Mine came from Vibola, and not only were they fake (black in color rather than gray), but they were made of some sort of a hard plastic that was giving off a chemical smell. They return address on the package was in China. I don’t mind an occasional “aftermarket” product, but the quality has to be there. This was obviously not the case. Had to trash them.
Fake!!! be careful who you buy from This is not a review of the original vacu vin product – but rather what i got.What i got is not a vacu vin! i already have a few original ones, so i know the difference. The original is gray, as shown in the picture. It is made of rubber. What i got is black plastic, which came is some unbranded ziplock bag, it smells like chemicals and there is no way i am going to let it near anything that goes through my mouth. The cost of return and the hassle makes it a waste of time… watch…
Fake item. Nothing like the authentic VacU Vin product. These are fake VacUVin sealers. They are plastic, not rubber. They are black not grey.
