Functional, but not Beat in Category I had a similar product purchased from a World Market and loved it. I bought this product as a replacement, but the Vacu Vin is inferior in quality. I think where room for improvement boils down to is how much liquid is included in each little âsackâ that freezes into Gel – it seems as though thereâs is less (so each compartment is mostly filled with air), so this product is useless at chilling a bottle from warm to cold and offers only mediocre performance in keeping a cold bottle of wine at…
Good, but could be better These are great for keeping wine chilled, but there is room for a huge product improvement. These fit more-or-less standard sized 750 ml bottles. As you know, wine bottles – even of the 750 ml size – come in a variety of shapes. It they had included a section of elastic, these would fit substantially more bottles. Instead of elastic, they could also have left an open section with a Velcro strap.
Flexible wine sleeves – keep cold bottles cold. I use them on my forearms and elbow as an ice pack. Works great! I use these to ice down my forearms and elbow – but also for chilling wine. They are super cold and help keep whatever they are around nice and cold.Solid buy.However, to comment on other people’s posts – I wouldn’t expect these sleeves to take a room temperature bottle of wine down to “cold” and keep it there for very long.
