Experiment and discover the taste of wine like never before. Vacu Vin introduces the latest innovation in the world of wine accessories: the Slow Pourer, for delicate and older wines. The Slow Wine Pourer adds a completely new dimension to tasting wine. It allows you to experiment with flavor and discover your personal taste. So treat your older and more delicate wines the way they deserve and experiment with the different flavors of younger wines. The possibilities are endless… As a wine is exposed to oxygen it typically becomes more expressive, releasing aromas and flavors. But aeration can also expose flaws, or make an older, more delicate wine deteriorate more quickly. You will probably notice the effects of this aeration effect within minutes. With the Slow Wine Pourer, you minimize the amount of oxygen that the wines comes in contact with and therefore avoid over-oxidation.

Product Features

  • Always keep the transparent tube at the bottom of the glass to minimize oxidation while pouring.
  • The transparent tube can be removed for cleaning.
  • The silicone stopper has a double flange, making the Slow Pourer fit on a wide range of bottles.
  • The stainless steel tube reaches to the back of the bottle and guides the air flow without aerating the wine.

Was unsure about this but its’ actually very cool. Wine is such a cool thing – open a bottle one day and it tastes a certain way, open it the next day and it can taste different. We then took it out and poured 2 glasses of wine…

Interesting changes using this tool… This is a tool that benefits older, unique wines. Aerating is good for some wines, but this actually prevents over-aeration of wine while pouring. The tool is secure in the bottle. It removes and cleans easily, and stores easily. We brought out a pretty old bottle of Brunello Italian wine we brought home from Tuscany about four years ago. There were no added sulfites. I know the vintner, so know what he had in mind when creating this bottle of wine. We…

Believe it or not, it makes a difference! I love my wines! So as you can imagine I have quite the wine selection. Some basic bottles that aren’t too expensive and a few that are quite pricey. I opened one of my more expensive bottles of red zin specifically to try with this slow pour and thankfully we had company so they could give their honest opinions. We poured a little in their glasses without using this and brought new glasses with the wine poured using this. I did my own taste test prior to pouring their glasses and…
