Still a winner Have been using this system for over 5 years, almost daily with various wine and liquor bottles. The pump eventually became difficult to use, and this replacement is like a whole new world of function. Very smooth pumping and takes less pumps to evacuate air than my first. The stoppers last forever it would seem, and are easy to disassemble, clean, and re-assemble. Great for a light weight like me. If you always finish off that bottle of wine the night you first uncork it, you don’t need this. But it usually takes me a a few days to drink a whole bottle of pinot noir or what ever. This little device prevents oxidation ( indefinitely, I think), and is very easy to use. This is the second one I’ve owned. Got my first one as a gift years ago, and eventually wore it out. The new version is even better than the original. Highly recommended.
Can keep wine good for a week! I gave this to my housemate as a gift for the holiday’s, and we use it at least once a week. Before, we would have to finish a whole bottle in one evening, but this system allows us to save the wine for even a week if we want to. Just make sure you wash the part that goes on the bottle after every use!
