Please be CAREFUL using this on a Kitchen Counter, if you’re short. Yes, this pump seems to work quite well at releasing air from wine bottles. Goody.But it takes a good deal of body strength , to generate the “click” that means air has been released. For a person with ordinary upper body strength, this should be no problem at all. But have you ever wished your kitchen counter was not quite so high?Well then, Amazon-user, you’re short. A must have for any wine afficionado I originally bought a Vacu Vin about 20 years ago, and it finally needed replacing when the plastic lining for the pump wore out.
