Does well but extremely delicate! I liked it and thought it did well what it was supposed to. Then it broke. :((( I don’t know what part of the ‘new’ material it makes it “extremely durable” the way they advertise, but I had it for a month, used it on total of… 5 bottles? And it cracked when I was placing it into my silicone bottom lined sink (nothing else in the sink). 🙁 Maybe it went up against the non-lined part, but it’s not like I dropped it in there 🙁 That said, I don’t like the aerators that require two hands, or…

Aerator works great. Storage base not so much So the aerator itself gets 5 stars. The aerator is fun to watch, and definitely helps open up some of the stuffier $20 reds to help them taste better. take it easy on the marketing pitch…. this thing is a lot of fun and does a great job decanting wine. Dont listen to the shtick about making a cheap bottle taste expensive. Total crap. What it does do, though, is open up a bottle of wine quickly. I would never run my favorite bottles thru this, though. Ever. A good bottle of wine should not be decanted ever. However, your average 20$ bottle will be served well to run thru this thing. It wont make it taste like a silver oak, but will still help the situation.
