Good, With Some Flaws Overall, this is pretty good, but it could be improved.Firstly, it seems like you need to completely pack the reservoir with ice. I usually add some salt too, for good measure.Secondly, the more you pour, the less liquid comes in contact with the cooled surface, rendering it far less effective.Thirdly, the silicone cover will trap water, so you really have to make sure that everything is well dried before reassembling after washing.It does a…
Much improved I’ve had an earlier versions of this product. The carafe did a g r e a t job chilling wine, but I experienced usability problems. The older model had a screw-on ice chamber that was very difficult to seat properly, thus the carafe often leaked when pouring. Additionally, the glass vessel seems to have been thinner and easily broken. Both these issues were addressed in this redesign in addition to a new spout design. Great chilling carafe I bought this as a secret santa gift for a friend who loves wine. I received mine in a very cushioned package and had no issues with cracking. If you follow the instructions, like turning the rubber piece down to allow for the interior piece to slide right in – there should be no issues. Everything fit as it was supposed to and she is looking forward to chilling her white wine in it! Also, the teal color is exactly as pictured and goes well in her home which is beachy decor – white and teal.
