Compare Rabbit with Electro VinoVac Wine Saver System by Franmara I bought this on a neighbor’s recommendation. ordered some extra corks.Pros: Seems to work OK,but needs about three cycles to get good vacuum,Pros: Can use multiple corks and several bottlesPros: Wine seems good after several daysCons: need to mark where the little light is to find itCons: need to hold through three 15-30 sec cycles to get a vacuum similar to the old handheld oneCons: batteries were DOA on arrival , needed replacementCompared to Electro…

Does an adequate job but has some quirks. Purchased this electric wine preserver having previously used a manual VacuVin pump for number of years with good success . After using this unit for about a month or so it’s not clear whether this is an upgrade over the manual device. Yes it does produce a decent vacuum but the 15 to 20 seconds needed to operate the device before the indicator light goes out seems a bit excessive. BEST OPTION? throw it away.Good bye RABBIT This product is absolutely bad and badly designed, When you manage to make the vacuum and the unit stops there is no way to separate it from the stopper without the air entering the bottle again, this happens 19 times out of every 20 attempts, The stoppers have a red aluminum ring that comes off and makes the stopper completely useless. I could not claim on time and I did not get the refund so I decided to throw it away.
