Broke on second bottle. I bought the most expensive one OPUX had and it just didn’t work. The foil cutter was too shallow so I couldn’t get it over the lip on the top of the bottle so you couldn’t turn it properly to cut the foil. I had to struggle with the corkscrew opening the first bottle as if the unit was not in synch. It would bind. I managed to open the first bottle but the corkscrew broke on the second. I returned it.
Poor quality wine opener that broke after 1 month!! Broke within 1 month (used about 3 times). This wine opener is not well made at all. The plastic plug that the corkscrew passes through cracked as we were opening a bottle. We have had our Rabbit opener for many years with no issues. So, we bought this as a 2nd wine opener to have on hand. Clearly, we should have stuck with the original Rabbit wine opener!! I bought this based on all the positive reviews. Now, I am wondering if they are actual reviews by people not affiliated with this company!
Doesnât Work I bought this set for my husband when his old opener broke. The rabbit opener doesnât work well at all. The corkscrew is flimsy and wonât stay in the cork. Every time he tries to open a bottle, the corkscrew comes out without the cork. Weâve tried both of them that came with the set and neither works. Back to using an old style corkscrew.
