Works, But Overpriced. Should Be Part of Basic Unit. Works. That’s why it gets three stars. because it does what it is supposed to do. But it is preposterously overpriced, even by Coravin [and first world problem] standards. Easy to lose. Frankly, this capability should have been built into the core unit itself, and should not require this additional purchase. Yeah, I am moderately peeved. But it does work. And if you’re using your Coravin a fair bit [as we are, because one of us is currently not drinking], it makes a worthwhile instant…
This product does not work. I paid ~70 to … This product does not work. I paid ~70 to watch wine drip slower out of the Coravin than it would normally. I also wasted a capsule trying to play with this and figure it out. As with other aerstors that spread and divide the flow this just drips out then around the unit making a mess. I don’t see how this aerates as suggested in video and instructions.Warning to consumer- notice the group of 5 star reviews on one day 11/14. I should have been more skeptical before purchasing.
does not work as advertised – Updated Changing my review to 5 stars. Coravin promptly sent me a replacement aerator, and it actually works like the video – clean streams not requiring a lot of gas (they asked to get the old one back to examine it which I took to be a good sign of quality control). Very pleased with the customer service – people make mistakes, the key is how you work to fix them.
